Bruce Lawrence

Bruce has been one of the UK’s leading western riders, trainers and competitors for more than 15 years and has held many national titles and championships in western pleasure, horsemanship, reining and western riding.

Andria Lawrence

Andria, Bruce’s wife, balances being in charge on the yard with family life and is particularly good at soothing clients at shows – Andria always has plaiting bands in her pockets!

Digger

Yard security is our dog Digger’s domain and probably the first welcome you will receive on arrival at Sandlin will be from him.

Dude

Twelve-year-old Quarter Horse Dude by Doc is our main teacher. He was bred by us here at Sandlin and refuses to live anywhere else!

JP

Seren Jolly Profit (JP to his friends) is our other lesson horse, owned by Frances Payne. He is a beautiful bay Quarter Horse and is well known on the show circuit, having won several national & international awards in Western Pleasure and Trail classes.

Adam Derrington

Estate Manager Adam joined us in April 2009 and helps to make sure hedges are trimmed, fences are painted and everywhere looks neat and tidy. If there is a bolt loose or a drain blocked – Adam is the man!
