The weekend of 28th to 30th August 2009 saw Team Lawrence compete at the annual WES National Show at Moreton Morrell, Warks.

Frances Payne's Seren Jolly Profit  notched up an impressive 9 wins, between Frances, Bruce and youth rider Tom Nock who all shared the ride.

WES Intermediate Amateur Pleasure
WES Intermediate Amateur Trail, ridden by Frances

Open Youth Pleasure
Novice Rider Pleasure
Novice Youth Trail
Open Youth Trail, ridden by Tom

Championship Western Pleasure, ridden by Bruce, winning the title for the second year running.

Bruce and "JP" were also reserve overall championship hi-point winners, after earning second place in the Championship Trail.

Sarah Nock's four year old gelding Surely Be Blazin proved his exciting potential with Bruce, by winning both the Open Western Pleasure & Novice Horse Western Pleasure classes.

Bruce also rode Christine Grieve's BRS Gold Stream to win the Open Versatility Competition.

Other combinations achieving noteable results include John McKnight & MA Darkness Revenge (winning Amateur & Intermediate Amateur Reining classes), Lisa Crowe (winning Open Showmanship Championship & Amateur Horsemanship), Louise Poole & Rockhill River Snake (Novice Horse Western Riding), Helen Gough Stinton and Baileys (Novice Rider  Trail, Novice Rider Reining & Novice Rider Hi-Point winner). Christine Grieve and Val Burdge also achieved many good placings with BRS Gold Stream & Duncrahill Golani.
